Private Tours
If you are looking for a unique experience visit the Wilbur’s Wildlife private zoo located in Kudla in Adelaide’s North for an up-close native animal experience.
Our tours take you through our unique wildlife park to meet our collection of over 150 animals representing around 50 species. Animals you may meet during your adventure include owls, parrots, curlews, possums, sugar gliders, bettongs, lizards (monitors, dragons, skinks, geckoes and legless), pythons, turtles, saltwater crocodiles, frogs, insects and more. Please be aware that Wilbur’s Wildlife is not currently home to a koala.
We offer 2 tours, the first is our basic tour with the opportunity to come and visit our facility and view the animals along with opportunities to hold some of the animals. If you are looking for a longer more in-depth option join our keeper tours. This 2-hour experience will introduce you to life as zookeeper including opportunities to feed, clean and interact with our animals.

Wilbur’s Wildlife private tours have their soft launch on January 26th. Tickets will be offered at a discounted rate as we refine the product up until a full launch in March 2019 so please take advantage of this offer. During this time, we expect all species to be on display and the experience to be much as it will be after the full launch.
Basic Tour
Join a Wilbur’s Wildlife keeper for a 1-hour journey through the facility where Wilbur’s Wildlife house the animal’s used in our mobile wildlife demonstrations.
During this tour you will visit our sugar glider breeding area, carnivorous bird aviary home to our owls, frogmouths and curlews. Next is our forest aviary home to possums and bettongs which are a small kangaroo like mammal.
Your time at our wildlife park concludes with a visit to our reptile room. This space not only houses our collection of snakes, lizards, crocodiles and turtles but also hopping mice, fat tailed dunnarts, frogs and our extensive invertebrate collection.
Along the way you will have the opportunity to hold a snake and lizard and interact with one of our small mammal species.

Bookings can be arranged outside of these times or for larger groups please contact us to discuss your needs. All bookings outside of these times will be charged for a full group of 5 people regardless of group size.

Keeper Tour
The 2-hour keeper tour not only introduces you to the animals housed at Wilbur’s Wildlife as with our basic tour option but lets you learn how we keep them all in top health.
During this tour you will join a Wilbur’s Wildlife zookeeper and get to help them as they go through their daily routine of feeding our animals, cleaning their enclosures and performing health checks to ensure they are well. You will also join them for a training session with one of our animals to learn how we get our animals ready to be part of our mobile programs.
You will also get the opportunity to hold a snake and lizard, enter our sugar glider or possum enclosure to interact with them amongst a range of other up close and hands on native animal experiences.
Best of all during your tour you will be the only group being guided by your keeper giving you one-on-one interaction and the ability to ask as many questions as you would like along with the ability to tailor your experience to the animals you like best.
This program is also a great gift or experience for birthday’s and other such occasions.

Wilbur’s Wildlife tours will be cancelled if the forecasted Adelaide temperature exceeds 40oC on the forecast issued by the Bureau of Meteorology, In the event this occurs we will contact you to arrange a rebooking or refund.
Animals pictured or mentioned may not be on display for animal husbandry reasons or they may be out on a Wilbur’s Wildlife mobile animal experience.
