Story Time Comes to Life
Wilbur’s Wildlife newest program is launching during Term 2. This unique offering brings together story and animal’s to create a program perfect for preschool children.
Designed as a playgroup style program, story time comes to life involves a half hour visit from
Wilbur’s Wildlife during which we read the children a picture book and throughout it comes to life with the opportunity to meet and pat some of the books stars.
We also provide a linked craft activity which the library may choose to run after our session to extend this to a 1 hour program and add additional value for your guests.
The story and animal’s change each session allowing the library to run this as an ongoing group.
The cost for story time comes to life is $130 for one half hour session or book four sessions at a time for a total of $360.
Our suggested group size for these sessions is 25.
Further details and our program for the current term can be viewed by clicking the button below.

OUR REVIEWS
Cale and the animals of Wilbur’s Wildlife visited two of our libraries and they were a smash hit. The kids and parents loved getting hands on with the animals and learning about them. We have had nothing but positive feedback from everyone who attended (young and old) and will hope to have Wilbur’s back in the future.

Booking Policies
Weather Policy
A number of our animals struggle to cope with extended periods of hot weather. As a result on days where the temperature is extreme Wilbur’s Wildlife do not conduct presentations. Our policy is not to conduct presentation outdoors when the Adelaide temperature is above 32oC, presentations will still occur indoors where sufficient air-conditioning is present. When the temperature is above 38oC Wilbur’s Wildlife do not have any animal’s leave our property. This will be decided two day’s before the presentation at 3pm with the customer contacted to arrange a rebooking. Wilbur’s Wildlife use the Adelaide forecast from the Bureau of Meteorology. Wilbur’s Wildlife also reserve the right to cancel or postpone a show if there is extreme weather such as thunder, hail etc. that may put our animals in danger.
Cancellation Policy
When booking a Wilbur’s Wildlife presentation we reserve that time for your presenter and are unable to book this time out to another customer. As such when bookings are cancelled typically we will still incur some costs and likely not receive another booking to cover these. As a result any booking cancelled within 2 weeks of the presentation will still incur 50% of the cost. If cancelled within 24 hours of the show the full cost will still be payable.
Wilbur’s Wildlife understand that in some cases circumstances arise which mean it is not possible for a presentation to occur on the booked date. In this case we are happy to work with you on moving the presentation to another suitable date at no added cost.
