The IUCN red list considers the water python to be a least concern species.  

This animal can not visit your location for a presentation.

This animal is not used for Wilbur’s Wildlife event displays. 

This animal is on show during private zoo tours.

Our Animals


Wilbur’s Wildlife is home to a single water python who joined us in March 2018. He has grown well on a diet of small mice. He is being held regularly to get him ready to be part of our presentations team.

Quick Facts

 

The scales of the water python have a rainbow like sheen in the light. They are the rainbow serpent which is mentioned in some aboriginal stories.
